This piece is based on Habakkuk 2:1, a book that anchored me during a time of waiting, when all I could do was find comfort in His word. I wanted to express how deeply relevant our posture in watching is based on this scripture. Who are we watching? Are we steady and joyous in our watching? Or are we anxious and controlling? 

In this piece, the woman is facing a hidden cross in the window, watching Him. When we fix our eyes on Jesus and trust in His character, it transforms us and those around us. Because He now lives inside of us, we get to watch with joy and with expectation. And the people in our spheres of influence — our loved ones, co-workers, peers, neighbors, friends — begin to take notice, locking eyes with the One we're watching.
