This painting is based on Isaiah 9. Jesus, just like us, was born a baby. He learned to walk and talk. He was embraced by His mother and father. He took on the limitations of being human, experiencing everything we experience. And in the end, He endured the greatest pain, the deepest hurt, and the most brutal death because He loves us.
 
He was, is, and always will be perfect. And yet, the Perfect One chose to come as a child—born to imperfect people, in an unclean place—and was honored as the Humble King that He is.
