This piece began as a simple study but slowly became a defining work during that season of my life. I started by mimicking the famous painting The Girl with the Pearl Earring, when the song Pure Gold by The Clark Sisters came on.In that moment, everything shifted. Instead of creating a copy of a classic, I felt led to paint the Refiner’s fire—a reflection of transformation, purity, and the beauty that comes through the process.
