This piece began as a simple study but slowly became a defining work during that season of my life. I started by mimicking the famous painting "The Girl with the Pearl Earring", when the song Pure Gold by The Clark Sisters came on. In that moment, everything shifted. Instead of creating a copy of a classic, I felt led to paint the Refiner’s fire — a reflection of transformation, purity, and the beauty that comes through the process.
