This is a very special piece to me. I made this for my pastor as a gift to let him know how much our church appreciates him. I started this painting by writing my prayers all over it. The Lord then led me to 1 Timothy 1:13-14, then to Psalm 91, then I kept the Lord’s hand grabbing my pastor’s hand. My pastor’s hand looked like one of a little boy and when his hand met the hand of his Maker, i saw oil. Then the Lord made it clear that everything comes from understanding that he is a son.
 
This piece is so special to me because it’s a gift for my pastor. I began the painting by covering the canvas in prayer. As I prayed, the Lord led me to 1 Timothy 1:13-14, then to Psalm 91. From there, I was shown a powerful image: the Lord’s hand reaching down to grasp my pastor’s hand. What struck me was that my pastor’s hand looked like the hand of a little boy. And when it met the hand of his Maker, I saw oil. In that moment, the Lord made it clear: everything flows from understanding that he is a son.
